What we look at

• Where a link really goes. Short links get followed to the end, because a real company and a scammer can both use one.
• Whether the address belongs to the company the message names, or only looks like it.
• How old the domain is, and whether it appears on public lists of malicious sites.
• The wording: deadlines, fines, prizes, and requests for a password or a code.

No account needed. Phone numbers, cards, IBANs and email addresses are removed before anything is stored.
